Carrabelle Harbor Riverwalk

In recent years, Marine Street along the harbor has been beautifully renovated. Walk a half mile, past slips with sailboats, shrimp boats, sport fishers and the occasional pelican.

Sail Reflections

Slipped sailboats on Timber Island, across from downtown Carrabelle.

The Hotel Monkey Bar

Kathy and Skip (in back) with Sunny Jim (of Parrothead fame) and Adela relax after the Carrabelle Riverfront Festival performance.

Habitat for Humanity Fund-Raising Prize

The Old Carrabelle Hotel supports Habitat for Humanity's new Franklin County branch.

Sandsationals

A recent April Riverfront Festival featured this larger-than-life work by 2 professional sand sculptors. It took 3 days, and delighted young and old alike.

The Hotel Courtyard

The Key West courtyard provides an ample outdoor area for relaxing.

Carrabelle at Dawn

There is no prettier harbor, any time of day.

Mostly water, Carrabelle enjoys river, harbor, salt marsh, Intracoastal bay and the Gulf of Mexico. This view from the north looks over the harbor and across Timber Island. See the river mouth upper left, Dog Island and St. George Island out toward the horizon, and coastal Hwy. 98 winding across the bridge and out to Carrabelle Beach at top right.
