Our Disinfection Policy

Hydrogen peroxide is the best disinfectant we have found, and least intrusive. We are using it daily at the Hotel now (see post on FB). Doesn’t take long, a small spray on all switches, remote controls, bath handles, door knobs, etc.

Please consider doing this even at home…the wacky thing is that typical spray bottle parts fit right on the H2O2 bottle! We’ve found a fine mist one, works very well. Don’t wipe it off with your dirty cloth, that defeats the purpose.

Take a step back in time and create memories to last
a lifetime at The Old Carrabelle Hotel.

Out of all the places to stay in Carrabelle Florida, our historic inn is by far the most unique. The Old Carrabelle Hotel features five delightfully themed hotel rooms with private baths as well as living and dining room guest areas. At the heart of the property sits a lush Key West courtyard, complete with tables in the sun and shade, a gas grill and a wet bar.

If you’re looking for something more secluded, discover our one-of-a-kind Winchester Cottage, nestled under majestic oaks right up the street from the hotel. One of the few remaining authentic Florida coastal cottages, this 1933 vintage bungalow is located only five blocks from the harbor and two miles from the beach.

Ready to relax and unwind? Rock your cares away on our tranquil wraparound verandas while taking in the scenic views of the harbor. If you’re in the mood to explore, take a short trip down coastal Highway 98 to discover the hip and historical town of Apalachicola or St. George Island, the Forgotten Coast’s pristine barrier island.

If you’re looking for serene, out-of-the-way Carrabelle Florida lodging, you’ve come to the right place. Although our easy-going inn is nestled in a quiet corner of Carrabelle, we’re minutes away from all the sights and activities Florida’s Forgotten Coast has to offer.
